Jamaica Library Service’s National Reading Competition

Since 2022, the VM Foundation has partnered with the Jamaica Library Service (JLS) in support of its flagship programme, the National Reading Competition. With over 100 library locations as part of its network, the partnership has allowed both organisations to make a significant contribution to literacy across several communities.

In keeping with VM’s focus on financial education, the Foundation provides support in the form of financial literacy sessions for all library staff and entrants which expose participants to financial concepts such as savings, budgeting and investing.
